Deals and Passes

Is there a membership subscription for a cheaper price?

  • We do not have a membership subscription at the moment, but we do offer multi-pass which is cheaper than a single admission ticket, up to 20 % off. Please refer to our multi-pass page for more details.

Is there a Weekend and Holiday surcharge for admission?

  • No, admission fee is all the same throughout the year. However there is a price different in part package.

Can pay cash get discount?

  • Whilst we know some places give 5% discounts, we don't as we book it via our system.

Can I buy a membership or multi-visit pass?

  • Yes! We offer multi-visit passes for regular guests. They're a great value for frequent visitors.

Food and Drinks

Can I see an allergen-friendly menu?

  • Of course! Just ask our staff and we'll provide you with an allergen-friendly guide for all menu items.

Is meal time including in the play session time?

  • Yes, meal time is including in the play session time.

What food do you provide at MiniTown Cafe?

  • We have a wide range of savoury food and desserts also kids meal, such as chips, nuggets and pizza. As well as gelato, mini apple pies for desserts. For drinks we have barista coffee, milk shakes and apple juice for kids.

Is there a cafe area at MiniTown?

  • Yes, there is a cafe where you can order food and drinks at counter, then enjoy your meal in our dining area within the play zone.

Can I hold a party without a food package for kids and adults?

  • All our party package is including food for kids and adults to ensure worry-free from organising the party.

What if there is not enough food for the party?

  • You are welcome to order more food from our cafe. Except fruit platter, sushi and beef burger have to be pre-ordered in advance.

Do you do any halal or vegetarian parties?

  • Yes we do our best to cater to your guests. Our wedges, nuggets and burgers are halal. You can also order our fish fingers, salt and pepper calamari and tempura prawns.

Can I customize the party menu?

  • Absolutely. We have standard kids' party menus, but we're happy to adjust for allergies or preferences.

Are we allowed to bring our own food/drinks to party? What about birthday cake?

  • Absolutely. Though we provide ample food in all our party packages, you're welcome to bring your own cake, decorations, or even extra snacks. However alcohol is prohibited at MiniTown. We only ask that everything is packed up at the end of your booking time.

Are there any kids' meal combos or snack packs?

  • Yes! We offer delicious kids' meals like nuggets and chips and fish and chips. We also have a variety of kid-friendly options including juices, yogurts, cookies, gelato, seasonal fruits, and fresh bakery items-perfect for little appetites! Yes! Is there a microwave available for warming baby food or bottles?

  • Yes! We have a microwave on-site that parents are welcome to use-just ask one of our team members for help.

Can I bring outside food or drinks for my child?

  • We kindly ask that no outside food or drinks are brought in, unless required for medical or allergy-related reasons.

Can I customize my coffee (e.g., oat milk, extra shot)?

  • Absolutely! We're happy to adjust your drink to your liking-just let us know.

General Amenities

Is there a baby changing station in the restroom?

  • Yes, we have a baby change table located in our restroom for your convenience.

Do you have air conditioning/heating inside the café?

  • Yes, our café and play areas are climate-controlled, keeping things comfortable all year round.

What is signing a waiver for?

  • The waiver is to make sure parents acknowledge the house rules, terms and conditions at MiniTown.

Is adult free of charge? What if I have two adults or more coming along?

  • A general/ baby admission ticket includes one adult. An additional adult will cost $5 for entry.

Parties and Bookings

Can I bring my own cake or decorations?

  • Yes, you're welcome to bring your own cake and decorations. Just let us know in advance.

What if the number of guests from party are yet to be confirmed?

  • We suggest to book a room size that fits all your guests. Only half of the amount of the package cost are to be paid during booking. Once you have received your RSVP, then you may confirm the number of guests so we can provide the right amount of food.

Are we allowed to bring decorations for the party?

  • Yes, you are welcome to bring your decorations to create an unforgettable party. We can also help with supplying decoration for themed party. Don't hesitate to contact us via email/phone.

Do you provide Goodie bags for party?

  • Unfortunately we don't. Please BYO.

How far in advance should I book a party?

  • We recommend booking at least 3-4 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date and time.

Does School Holiday considered as Public Holiday for the party charge?

  • We charge school holiday same as regular days unless it is overlapping a public holiday.

Can I book the entire venue for a private function?

  • Yes, our venue is available for private hire, including birthdays, playgroups, and celebrations. Get in touch to learn more about availability and packages.

Is there a deposit required for party bookings?

  • Yes, a non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. The amount depends on the chosen package.

Do you host birthday parties or private events?

  • Yes! We love hosting celebrations. We offer party packages and venue hire for birthdays, baby showers, and more.

Are there any themed party options available?

  • Yes! We offer fun party themes like forest, ocean, dinosaur, and space. We also have an Ultimate Party Room that's not pre-decorated, allowing families to customise it with their own preferred theme and decorations.

Play Centre and Facilities

Do you have another play centre in Melbourne?

  • Nope, we are the one and only MiniTown at the moment!

How long has MiniTown been opened?

  • We are officially opened in November 2024.

Is it necessary to have grippy socks for kids? Does adult need to wear socks? Do you sell socks at MiniTown?

  • We recommend to have grippy socks for kids to play safely, but not a-must. Our centre is a shoe-off sock-on venue, so for hygiene reason, adults are requires to wear socks. But if you would like a new pair of grippy socks for both kids and adults, we do offer them for $3 a pair.

Are socks required in the play area?

  • Yes, socks are mandatory for hygiene and safety-for both kids and supervising adults.

Is adult supervision required in the play zones?

  • Yes, all children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times while playing.

How often does the train be operated? How many times can we play for $5?

  • Our Mini Train is operated every hour. $5 is per ride, for 4 loops.

How old is appropriate to play at your play centre?

  • Minitown is designed for kids 0-9 years old.

Is there a specific session time to come play at your kids centre? Or can I come at any time?

  • You are welcome to come at any time. We are charging per hour or two. We will start your play time at the time you check-in with us.

Is booking a play session necessary before coming? Or Walk-in is fine?

  • Walk-in is totally fine. Booking a session is recommended only for a faster check-in procedure.

How old is to be considered as kids in a party?

  • Kids who will sit at the kids table and suggested to be under 9 years old.

For the party group train, how many times can the party group play?

  • This depends on how many kids are in the party. We will ensure all kids to have a chance to play once.

Can I hire an entertainer to my party? Is face painting allowed?

  • Absolutely! You can hire an entertainer to your party. As well as fae painting is allowed, just not on any other part of the body.

Is the play equipment cleaned regularly?

  • Definitely! We follow a strict cleaning schedule and sanitize all play areas regularly throughout the day.

Do you offer any structured play sessions or activities?

  • Yes! We run sensory play sessions and self-defence classes on select days-check our event calendar for upcoming activities.

Are the birthday kids and hosts included in the party package?

  • Yes the number of capacity are including the birthday kids and the parents.

Can I reserve a spot in the play area during busy times?

  • While you can book online to enter the play centre, we unfortunately can't reserve a specific spot or area inside during busy times. We also welcome walk-ins, so we can't guarantee space allocation within the play zones.

Do you have a separate area for toddlers?

  • Minitown is designed so toddlers can explore any zone freely, but we recommend our beautiful ball pit, foam pit, and sprinkle pit as the most suitable and fun areas for younger children.

Can I leave my child at the play centre while I go out or shop nearby?

  • For safety reasons, children must be supervised at all times. We are not a drop-off centre and require a responsible adult to stay on-site.

Do you have high chairs available for babies and toddlers?

  • Yes, we have high chairs available in our dining room.

Is your play centre air-conditioning?

  • Yes, we have both cool and heat air-conditioning to ensure the temperature at MiniTown is comfortable during your play time.

Other than play area, do you offer any other activities?

  • We do offer class at MiniTown, cooperating with Early Explorers for sensory class and Kando for self-defence class. For more details, please refer to our classes page for more details.
