Looking for a fun and family-friendly way to spend Grand Final weekend? MiniTown is open all weekend, including the Grand Final Eve public holiday on Friday, September 26, and we'd love to see you!

The Australian Football League (AFL) Grand Final Day 2025 is this Saturday, September 27. It’s a great day of excitement and anticipation as the finalists hit the pitch to see who will take home the trophy.

But the celebrations start early. Grand Final Eve, which is this Friday, 26 September, is a public holiday in Victoria. It was introduced in 2015 to give families and fans a chance to enjoy the lead-up to the big game. With the Grand Final Parade also taking place in Melbourne on Friday, there’ll be a great buzz across the city and suburbs.

If you're staying local and looking to make the most of your day off, MiniTown is the perfect place to bring the kids. We’re open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and there’s plenty going on to keep your little ones entertained, engaged, and active.
